When using the Refine Mask tool it would be helpful to have the ability to not only select Display Mask but to also choose whether to use the Color Mask or the Grayscale Mask without having to close the tool, change to the preferred mask, and then open the Refine Mask tool again. Once the Refine Mask window is open the keyboard shortcuts no longer work so you are forced to close out of it and start again with the preferred style of mask.
