Feature Request: Global Tool Tab Shortcuts (1-9) in Secondary Viewer

Hello Capture One Team,

I am writing to request a workflow improvement regarding tool tab shortcut navigation in multi-window / dual monitor setups.

  • Issue: When using a Secondary Viewer, Speed Edit shortcuts work globally without issues. However, Tool Tab switching shortcuts (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) do not respond unless the main window is manually clicked first.

  • Impact: For high-volume editing workflows, having to manually click between the Secondary Viewer and the Main Window just to switch tool tabs severely disrupts editing speed and rhythm.

  • Request: Please update the Tool Tab shortcuts to function globally across all active windows—just like Speed Edit does—so users can seamlessly switch tabs (1, 2, 3, 4) while working in the Secondary Viewer without any mouse clicks.
