Custom Layout and Sizing for Printing Desperately Needed

Capture One ABSOLUTELY NEEDS an option for "Custom Layout" in organizing how images can be arranged on a sheet (or roll) to be printed.

It desperately needs a similar feature to Lightroom in which individual images can be dragged onto a blank sheet and organized in any configuration and enlarged or reduced to any size.

My artworks are all of completely different aspect ratios that do not fit nicely into the studio / wedding / portrait photographer's strict aspect ratios Capture One was designed for. Likewise, I specialize in wilderness panoramas of all different aspect ratios.

I am printing on archival paper with archival inks, and my paper wastage, since moving to Capture One, has significantly increased because I can't get all of these odd aspect ratios to fit economically given the few strict template layouts Capture One offers me.

If I've got a print job combining a few different orders of mixed photograph panoramas and random artworks, it becomes a real pain (and financial and material waste) to try to figure out how to print them most economically. I'm killing more of the trees I'm trying to protect through my photographic work.

Worse yet, I have 3000+ images for sale on my website store and the print sizes are specified down to the mm based around my printer's capabilities and paper sizes I've been working with for many years. The only way to fulfill my clients' orders now and keep them sized as stated on my website is to be extremely inefficient by printing them individually rather than sharing sheets, and all for the sake of a negligible 5-10 mm to keep them consistent with the product my clients have paid for on my website.

My only three options are:

1) Continue wasting paper and money by continuing to use Capture One.

2) Go in by hand and change all of the print dimensions on all 3000 of my images on my website and then again within my store.

3) Abandon Capture One for printing.

I've been a professional fine artist and wilderness photographer for over 25 years and have only been using Adobe software with my Epson P5070 SureColor printer.

I bought Capture One in a pinch after being burnt by Adobe, assuming, as a professional, that Capture One would have professional level capabilities for printing. I was absolutely dumbfounded to discover it did not. This is nowhere near professional standards--maybe for studio / portrait / wedding photographers--but definitely not for anybody else. I can't express how deeply disappointed I am.

I'm weighing up my options of switching back to Adobe, which I absolutely loathe the thought of, or shelling out another few to several hundred dollars for Epson's specific printings software.

I can't continue wasting all this paper and money by using Capture One's current restrictive layout options.
