When copying and applying adjustments between images, Enhanced Denoise is automatically included with the other adjustments.
For example, my workflow is typically:
Apply Enhanced Denoise to an image.
Make my creative adjustments — exposure, tone, color, etc.
Use Copy Adjustments (⌘⇧C).
Move to another image and use Apply Adjustments (⌘⇧V).
The problem is that Enhanced Denoise is copied and applied to the next image as well. This means I have to manually prevent it from being included, rather than simply transferring my creative adjustments.
Feature request
Please add a way to permanently exclude Enhanced Denoise from Copy/Apply Adjustments, or provide a preference that allows users to disable it by default.
Ideally, users should be able to copy and paste adjustments such as:
Exposure
HDR / Tone
Color
Curves
Clarity
Sharpening
Other creative adjustments
while keeping Enhanced Denoise independent.
This would be particularly useful because Enhanced Denoise can be computationally intensive. Automatically reapplying it when transferring adjustments to multiple images can result in unnecessary processing and can slow down a batch workflow.
Why this would help
It would allow photographers to separate creative/editing adjustments from processing-heavy operations such as Enhanced Denoise.
A simple option such as “Exclude Enhanced Denoise from Copy/Apply Adjustments” would make batch editing much more efficient and give users better control over what gets transferred between images.
This would be especially useful for workflows where the same color and tonal adjustments need to be applied across several images, while noise reduction is handled separately for each image.

Current workaround
At the moment, I have to go through each image individually and manually manage Enhanced Denoise. I first work through the images and make my creative adjustments. Then, after completing the editing, I have to go back through each individual image again to apply Enhanced Denoise separately. This adds an unnecessary second pass to the workflow. Since Enhanced Denoise is computationally intensive, I would prefer to keep it separate from my Copy/Apply Adjustments workflow and apply it only when I am ready, without having to revisit every image just because it was included in the copied adjustments. |
