Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem would this solve?
I'm using a Fujifilm GFX100S II, and I frequently select different aspect ratios in-camera (such as 3:2, 5:4, 1:1 or 65:24) to compose my photographs.
Unfortunately, Capture One ignores the aspect ratio information stored in the RAF files and always displays the full 4:3 sensor image.
This is frustrating because the composition I carefully established in the camera is lost when importing the RAW files.
Adobe Lightroom handles this correctly: it automatically applies the in-camera crop while keeping the full RAW image available for further adjustments.
Requested functionality
Please extend the existing Fujifilm in-camera crop support, introduced for cameras such as the GFX100RF and X-T5, to the GFX100S II and ideally all supported GFX models.
The expected behavior is straightforward:
Automatically detect the aspect ratio and crop recorded in the RAF metadata.
Apply the in-camera crop as the initial, non-destructive crop.
Allow users to freely modify or reset it to access the full sensor image.
Ideally, provide an option to enable or disable this behavior.
Since Capture One already implements this functionality for selected Fujifilm cameras, extending it to the GFX100S II would provide a consistent experience across the Fujifilm ecosystem.
This affects my workflow regularly, especially when working with non-standard aspect ratios.
Thank you for considering this improvement.

Current workaround
Manually recreating the original crop in Capture One, which is time-consuming and doesn't always precisely reproduce the composition established in-camera. |
