Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
The new body retouching tools are coupled to face detection, which means they can't be used if the face detection fails.
In group shots, or shots where the model is side on, facing away, or upside down, body retouching may still be required but cannot be accessed.
The segmenter that C1 uses can clearly identify people without a face, because if you go to an image with "No detected faces" you can still do a "People Mask" selecting Face Skin, Body Skin, etc.
So CaptureOne CAN find people without faces, it's already doing it (Really well).
If the retouching options were pivoted to "People Retouching", the controls could then be locked/unlocked based on the available parts of the person detected, rather than it all depending on the face being present.
As most of my work is circus and dance performers, faces are not detected in about 70% of shots, rendering the new tools frustratingly inaccessible.
