Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
I would like to request two additional caption options in the new Contact Sheet feature in Capture One.
Variant numbers: Allow the variant number or identifier to be displayed alongside the filename. When multiple variants of the same RAW file are included, such as color and black-and-white versions, they currently appear with identical filenames, making them difficult to distinguish.
File extensions: Allow file extensions such as .RAF, .TIF, and .JPG to be displayed. This would make it easier to identify different file formats directly on the contact sheet.
Ideally, both options could be enabled or disabled independently in the Contact Sheet settings, alongside the existing filename, color tag, and star rating options.
These additions would be especially useful for professional photography workflows, client selections, and reviewing multiple versions of the same image.
Thank you for considering this improvement.

Current workaround
Currently, the only workaround I can think of is to export images with modified filenames that include variant numbers and file extensions, and then create a new contact sheet. However, this requires additional steps and makes the workflow less efficient. |
