Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
Contrary to my initial, spontaneous assumption—and contrary to the opinion I shared in my last post here—I do believe that at least one of the key new features—the significantly more flexible color management—is also useful for nature and wildlife photography. Great stuff—I really like it!
Another new feature brings me to my suggestion for improvement: namely, the ability to remove “unruly” strands of hair. This already seems to work quite well.
This feature means that strands of hair can be identified and removed with great precision.
For me, this feature is half the battle on the way to achieving significantly more precise masking of hair and fur. Currently, the masking of hair and fur is often very poor, and a lot of post-processing is usually required. The precise identification of hair—which is necessary for removal in the new feature—could solve exactly this masking problem.
