Saving and importing Personalised Custom Tool Tabs

On occasion, Capture One updates reset the workspace to a new updated default workspace that includes new or latest tools and tab configurations, removing any user-defined custom tool tabs that were in use. I understand the need to refresh the workspace for new tools etc, but I use personalised custom tool tabs almost exclusively.

At present, Capture One only saves Custom Tool Tabs within a saved Workspace (.plist), not independently. Custom Workspaces are transportable, but Custom Tool Tabs are not. And there is no easy workaround for the end user. There are two choices. Either, rebuild all your custom tool tabs over and over each time Capture One updates, or switch to you old saved custom Workflow, which does not include any of the new tools or tab layouts, etc. It's a lose, lose scenario.

It has to make sense that if Custom Tool Tabs exist, they should be transportable. I've been using C1 exclusively since 2010 and this is the third time I've submitted this as a feature or bug request. It is my one and only, solitary gripe with Capture One. Otherwise, I love it to death.

Can someone please take notice and make preexisting user-defined Custom Tool Tabs importable? xx
