Camera Updates to all versions of Software

What problem do you see this solving?

Softwares do not get Camera support for new Cameras,

Feature Update should be Feature Updates, but Camera Updates should come to all versions

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

righ now, i can not use my Camera with a less than 6 month old sofware
