What problem do you see this solving?
Current workflow for portraits and lifestyle photos is to edit faces in 3 base groups: skin, eyes, lips. After a day of editing, I really like the new AI brush for Faces and Eyes. Unfortunately, it's super, super lackluster at selecting lips unless there's bright or contrasting lipstick. I estimate I spend as much time selecting lips as face and eyes combined. Lips are still getting a rough swipe with the brush the I hope there's enough color separation for the color tool to do it's job.
NOTE: If anyone on the boards has any tips, I'm open to suggestions. Please let me know what's workingfor you.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Today in 100% of the lifestyle photos I've edited. Not one single photo has had a subject wearing more than lip gloss.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Mentioned above. Fall back on the classic brush for a rough mask then hope the color tool can pick up enough separation although lips painted with bright or contrasting lipstick are easily selected by the AI brush. |
