Add power to colour sliders when B&W is enabled

What problem do you see this solving?

David Kachel wrote an article decades ago about the importance of always going too far when working towards a fine B&W print. His point was, that just like when manually focusing a lens, you have to overshoot things to know when it's just right.

With B&W enabled, I use the colour sliders under the Enable B&W check box, and the lighten slider in Color Editor to either raise or lower print values. Even when doubling up both of these sliders to raise the value of 'green' in a forest scene for example, it feels like it hasn't gone far enough. There are times when it needs to go further.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Every time I enable B&W.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I double up on the Color Editor and colour sliders under the Enable B&W check box. Have not gone looking for a plug-in...would rather have the answer within Capture One.
