Improved masks for clone and heal tools

What problem do you see this solving?

I want to have more control when I need to clone something from a photo. As an example, you need to delete something that is only partially covered by your subject, or it's emerging from the hair, etc.

When you need to clone something, you start with the source, then you choose a basic brush, then try to cover your target. You can choose also a basic brush to delete and refine your selection.

But you can only choose a basic brush to clone or to remove from cloning, you can´t use magic brushes. Also, you just can't copy a mask from another layer to use to better select a more precise target destination. Sometimes I need to change to another software if I need to be more precise with the cloning. It's just not easy to clone something when it partially peeks out from behind a dress or hair.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Several times in a session I need to spend a lot of time with cloning or use another photo editor with advanced cloning to achieve better results.
