Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
If possible it would be great to be able to have either a history log within Capture One Live to see when changes have been made by any user to ratings, tags and comments. Or alternatively (or as well as!) be able to download a history log/CSV of all image names with ratings, tags and comments, especially as comments are lost when the session is taken offline.
What problem do you see this solving?
I've been having issues with ratings syncing to Capture One desktop, and losing comments that have been added to images. Sometimes if ratings haven't synced properly, the desktop version overrides the online version and then my clients ratings are lost and I am not sure which ratings are the correct ones.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
This has happened in varying degrees of severity every time I use Capture One Live
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? At the moment when I set a session to share online, I close that session on desktop and try not to open it until the client has finished making their selections and comments so as not to cause any syncing issues. This can be difficult if they want to see alternative edit options. I also check in on the online link regularly so that I can tell if ratings may have changed (not by them) and take pictures of the screen of any comments to make sure these aren't lost. |
