What problem do you see this solving?
I have presets such as 4:5 ratio and ratios for instagram but sometimes I need them a little longer and it's annoying to have to go into crop settings by right clicking and selecting unconstrained to make the adjustment then repeat the process to selected 4:5 crop ratio to continue edits when reviewing imagery. It would be great to be able to hold a key down and that temporarily releases the constrained setting to allow free-style amendments by dragging the edges of the crop tool. The when you let go of the key, any amendments to crop would be snapped back to the 4:5 or whatever setting it was on before. It's a great way to toggle the cropping for faster review when editing lots of image crops that require different specifications for some images.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
This is a time consuming exercise every single time I'm cropping lots of images

Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? I'm having to manually make the crop ratio switch and release each time I want one image to have slightly different crops from the preset i selected. |
Has anyone got a workaround for this yet? It's been absolutely killing me in my latest 4000 image edit :/
