Apple Pencil pressure sensitivity when using IPad Pro as an input tablet with MacBook Pro and using capture one pro

What problem do you see this solving?

Background: I use Capture one pro on my MacBook and I also have an IPad Pro. I am using my iPad Pro as an input tablet using the sidecar feature and I duplicate my MacBook screen on my IPad so that I can directly use the Apple Pencil and the touch interface for edits. ( please do note, I am not talking about capture one for iPad but the full version on Mac OS). For the most part, the user experience is so good and using the Apple Pencil as an input device is much better than using a mouse. I am able to make precise adjustments to the curves tool, sliders and also to layer masks.

Problem statement: when I use the layer masks or brush tool, the pressure sensitivity is not optimal when using Apple Pencil. Most of the time I could only see a small/ sharp line when using brushes or masks. Considering Apple Pencil offers excellent pressure sensitivity, I would love to see some improvements on Capture one so that I can totally avoid using external input tablets like Wacom.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Im affected every time I use capture one layer masks or brush tools, almost every day.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

Yes, at times, using a slightly bigger brush size seems to help but it isn’t the most optimal or intuitive way. If not, I will just have to use my laptop mouse or an external graphics tablet like a Wacom, all of these are not the ideal ways.

They do read them, yes. Whether they have an SLA for response or whether they even have the cycles to respond to each one, I don't know. They get a lot of requests. A good way to not only get their attention, but to also get your request potentially slated for some future release, is to get votes for your ask. If you know others who want to use the apple pencil in the way you suggest, maybe get them to vote. At the very least, it shows up better on someone's daily reports.
