Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
I find the stitch between two images often shows 'doubles' where the same details are repeated along the stitch line. This makes the stitch unacceptable and the feature unusable if a reliable stitch can not be made.
The same images combined in Photoshop merge well and the stitch line can be easily checked. This has happened with many simple image sequences shot on a tripod. These sequences will have slight parallax alignment issues because the camera is not on a rail to avoid parallax, but they have not had issues in other software, so I conclude it is related to Capture One's simpler processing and alignment of panorama's.
If a stitch is not performed properly and this is not noticed until later, you risk losing all work on that image and having to start again or printing an image and finding the issues then.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Often when I have used the panorama feature.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Unfortunately I have to avoid using Capture One for stitching panoramas and use Photoshop or PTGUI instead by exporting tiff copies and starting from there. |
