Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
When zooming in to an image, it would be a great tool for evaluating exposure if the histogram updated according to what you actually see on screen. If you crop the image, the histogram updates accordingly, but it would be nice if this also happened when zooming. Then you could for instance zoom into the grey exposure patch/side of a ColorChecker card in you image so the grey patch filled the whole screen, and easily see where on the histogram it was sitting. And also evaluate parts of the image by zooming in and looking at the histogram.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
This is something that is more or less essential for me, and I do it many times on almost every shoot I do. I zoom in to my images not only to check the sharpness and details, but also for evaluating the exposure.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? I use the crop function, but this is a very cumbersome way that takes too much time. And time is limited on location when the client is constantly pushing you. |
