I have several catalogs which also contain images I'm not really working with but they contain cached previews from the time I was editing them several months/years ago. And they just keep on bloating.
I would love to be able to shrink the cache by either:
manually pressing a "reduce catalog size now!" button, or
having an option to set a maximum cache size (-> for a specific catalog - not globally!), at which point it purges the older full-size previews to make room for newer ones
This is also a nightmare for doing lean and quick backups, I have to manually exclude the cache potion of the catalog bundle...
