For better skin tones in black/white it is necessary to add a greyscale tool, where you can choose a specific channel or a mixture in between the RGB channels, like it is possible in the Hasselblad Phocus software. From this kind of preselection you can use all the possibilities of capture one for black/white converting. This tool to implement should not be a problem, because all the information need for are still in capture one.
Please give me a feedback.
I would also love this. I noticed that the system actually comes pre-installed with a "yellow filter" in the effect profiles but it seems like it isn't even a complete removal of the blue channel. I have created a red "volume boost" profile from 3d lut creator to get around this, but I've come to the conclution that its better if I can work natively inside C1. You can sort of do the with the layer tool in when paired with the BW tool, however the results are not all too great when compared to the LUT or doing it in photoshop (i have not used Hasselblad's offering, however photoshop does offers a fairly useable option, 3d lut creater's "volume" tool is fabulous for this.
