Make UNDO per picture, not per session

What problem do you see this solving?

When I make changes to a picture and go on to another picture to make changes and switch back to the previous picture and want to UNDO a change in that picture it will undo change(s) in the second picture.

You are not aware of this undoing until you go look on the second picture.

This happens all over the session you are working on. UNDO is not per se set to the one picture you are working on. You won't get a warning changes of another picture will be undone.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

It happens all the time. I'm using the latest updatem, but noticed it also on previous versions.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I am aware of it, but unfortunately not all the time. In those cases I am disappointed loosing the changes I already made.

I agree with BeO . Although I sometimes would like to be able to undo by image, at other times a global undo is needed.

I downvoted because you request a change in existing functionality which I want to keep.

Instead, I suggest you request a functionaltiy in addition to the existing undo function, or upvote an existing request, i.e.  edit history per image where you can roll back individual edits, e.g. https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/9966524210973-History-Panel
