Capture One allows to crop external parts of images but can't use the crop tool for have more empty space outside the image unless you use some rotation. Sometimes photographers are too much close to subjects on white/plain backgrounds and I have to reconstruct the background to keep the same aspect ratio and baseline in Photoshop. It would be more easy have the option to crop outside the image filling with a custom color directly in Capture One, for have the same aspect ratio and baseline during this part of the job and keep the workflow efficient. Then, of course, the part of re-edit the missing background will be demanded to Photoshop or other softwares.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Every day, I edit a lot of images for fashion brands that have the need to public on e-commerce, social and magazines so I have to check the crop size and aspect ratio of every output required from the client.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I can only tag with a color the images I can't definitely crop in Capture One and use the color tag exportation as token in the name of the file while export for find the files that need an adjustment crop and then do it in Photoshop.
