What problem do you see this solving?
When exporting cropped RAW files or using "edit with" to send cropped images to plugins such as Topaz Photo AI, the crop is lost even though "respect crop" is selected. I prefer to crop the images in Capture One and then use the Topaz software to clean them as a bulk process, but I feel the lack of crop support in Capture One DNG export is limiting final image quality. The DNG file format does support transmitting crop, and other, information, so it would be great if you could add adjustment support to the DNG files that Capture One exports.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Within the past day or two. I am currently using Capture One 22, but I checked with the Topaz company they confirmed with their version of Capture One also exhibits the same problem.

Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? I am using 16 Bit TIFF files as the next best alternative file format, but with the Topaz software it does feel like the final image looks better when the starting image is DNG and not TIFF. |
