Dedicated brush settings tool + pen pressure affects opacity/flow

What problem do you see this solving?

I’d love to see a dedicated tool for brush settings that can be pinned in the tool bar. Right now the only way to see my opacity and flow is clicking into the menu - the brush settings under the layers tool, or right clicking on the image with brush selected and changing the settings there.

Also, we have ‘pen pressure’ for line weight but not for opacity or flow? - painting in lighter by pushing lighter or darker by pushing harder. I've seen request for this from 8 years ago. This seems like it should be a given

This would improve workflow efficiency when using brushes to paint in masks, especially when using a drawing tablet. I’m mostly using Photoshop for detailed mask work. I wish I could keep all of the edits on one file and didn’t have to round trip them as PSDs.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Just about every second or third edit.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I use control + option with click and drag to change brush size and hardness, which works great with a mouse, but is ‘slippery’ with a pen and tablet - the cursor continues to move across the screen (Cintiq 16). I don’t experience this in photoshop. Also, there is not a similar way to adjust opacity or flow. I use a midi controller with encoders to quickly change settings on the fly, but I can’t see the sliders unless I click into the menu. Would love to have this nested for quick reference.
