Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
When using auto-keystone and when making keystone adjustments manually using the adjustment points, Capture One always crops the image more than what is necessary.
Here's a random example (not adjusted properly, only for illustration):
This means that you always have to spend time maximizing the crop manually. The only way to do this is to expand the crop a little, then reposition the cropping area, then expand the cropping area a little, reposition the cropping area, etc. etc.
Not having to do this every time you use the keystone tool would save a lot of time. And so it would be a great improvement if Capture One would automatically maximize the crop instead.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Every time I use the keystone tool.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? There are no workarounds that I'm aware of, apart from the method described above: repeatedly expanding the crop a little, then repositioning the cropping area. |
Hi Thomas,
Thank you for the suggestion - this is not something we are currently working on.
This does not mean this is a bad suggestion or that it will never be adressed, but in an effort of transparency we want you to know that we are not currently allocating resources to solving this issue.
We will revisit the status of this thread if and when it changes.
