If you can really serve as a man in the middle, connecting C1 company and Panasonic, I think it would be best if you contact C1 more directly than here in "just another post". For example, use the Request support link on top of this page.
Hi, what help from Panasonic, you need to be able to provide a tethering mode in C1. We've had more and more requests from professional photographers for a long time and it's increasing with all our new cameras, S and G series, it's probably time to cooperate, Panasonic and C1. Let me know what you need and I'll do my best.
I don't know about that, Fanjan. I think Capture One is very aware of this thread. Unfortunately they just have other priorities at the moment, I guess.
yes. in our studio we also work 100% with capture one. there we also work with phase one and leica. i privately have a lumix s1 and have recently thought very often about making the switch to leica or fujifilm medium format cameras. But I'm really happy with my Lumix and I don't want to invest in another camera system because of software.
Agree with Pascal, but the it's ironic how I won't buy the S1R because won't work on my professional workflow with Capture One. 99,9% of my work I shoot tethered on Capture One.
The only thing that can cause an impact is the feature request about Lumix cameras to grow bigger.
Guys, you know what you need to do. we need as many people as possible to upvote in this forum so that Capture one understands that the demand is big enough to put in the work.
That means that Lumix Tether is a bad application because it does not remember the settings from the last capture? 369260519517
Lumix Tether is not bad in itself, but it lacks many features that Capture one or Hasselblad Focus have. For example, applying a look that is applied to all other images that are imported afterwards. Also the performance and reliability of Capture one is much better than LUMIX Tether.
it’s a Frankenstein solution that does not fly in a professional environment. The application of settings from the last capture is an essential part of workflow.
That means that Lumix Tether is a bad application because it does not remember the settings from the last capture?
Can you use the application "Lumix Tether" and set the "Capture Folder" of a C1 session to the target folder of Lumix Tether (assuming this app stores the image files in a target folder on the computer)? Or is Lumix Tether a bad application?
I was planing my switch to the S1R, but was disappointed after knowing there's not support for tether either. Such a basic feature for an outstanding camera.
I too am very disappointed with this issue. I have a Lumix S5 and am currently evaluating the trial version of Capture One. I like the software, but I can NOT buy it if I won't be able to use my S5 in the end!
It's Kinda funny that the Sigma FP and FpL are thetering supported but no Panasonic Cameras. And im pretty sure that there are more Panasonic Users out there than People that use a Sigma FP. This all makes no sense at all

I think if each of us logs a feature request for this, it will help.
really good Idea dude, I have signed directly
Good idea! Signed!
I commented about .psb support in one of their videos, but they deleted my comment. At least we have this thread to be heard.
Guys, just sign the petition, let's get this moving, share it and spread it, print it and harass this company on every youtube video, at every event, on every stream they do: https://www.change.org/p/capture-one-please-add-tethering-support-to-panasonic-lumix-s-series-cameras
> Edward Moffat: I appreciate that PhaseOne can't do it by themselves
During that live session you may want to refer to the company actually responsible for the Capture One software.
Would LOVE tethering support on Panasonic bodies (5 of which Panasonic would call 'flagship' bodies)
This would be the kind of thing to ask on the Thursday LUMIX USA Live sessions on YT. I appreciate that PhaseOne can't do it by themselves.

Okay i didnt know that to be fair but also someone told me that capture one doesn't work with SDKs anymore So it is useless either way.
> Pascal von Winterfeld: ...The SDK file is on the Lumix site, you don't need support from Lumix
