Increase Time for Live Sessions - 30 days is not enough

The LIVE feature is useful but the 30-day limit is too short, especially for big projects involving many departments. In large commercial campaigns, it takes a while for clients to consult with all their departments, and we still need the shots for editing during that time. We've been using this feature since its launch and have dozens of active sessions. Our usual process is to wait for the client to email us confirming their final selections before we open the session. However, with the 30-day expiration, we often lose all the information if it expires before they're done. This causes issues when we have to tell clients that we've lost their selections and they have to start over. It's challenging to ask clients, especially VPs of marketing and marketing agencies, to hurry their process. Some campaigns last weeks before clients are ready to make their selections. Please consider the needs of commercial photographers in these situations and make it at least 90 days.

    Highly agree! Also if 30(or later +more days) days pass by and you dont open C1 to retrieve selections you should somehow have option to get those ratings etc after live session is dead.

    Just happened. We did shoot before summer holidays.we used live during shoot since one of clients were not at studio. They used same link for selectiuons and I didint know that. they forgot to tell me. summer went by and client said that they have done selection and I did not know that. So client need to do selection again. Kind a shitty deal

    Please consider the option to extend an expiring online sharing collection without the need to generate a new link. Maybe something like what WeTransfer has, where it asks if I need to extend the file storage. If not, they delete the files after a few days. This is great.

    Hey @Guest and thanks for the feedback. How much more time would you need in this case? How often would yo need it? Have you tried any work around e.g. opening Capture One Pro and getting their update before the expiration date and sending out a new Live link? Thanks again and looking forward to your feedback.
