Improve Capture One

It is a regular occurence for a client to ask to show a compare variant from a previous shot, which would naturally be in a separate folder.
I'd love to be able to set a compare variant, then move to the new capture folder and have it still displayed, instead of the usual dance of making a copy of the file in the wrong location and then having to remember to delete them before moving on, double checking that you copied the file and didn't move it so you're not deleting a select, etc.

Current workaround
Option-drag the select from previous folder into new capture folder, set compare variant, then remember to check that the option-drag worked as expected, and delete the file afterwards so there aren't stray files hanging around. This also leads to the unfortunate side effect of there being starred images in the trash, which can cause confusion as well. |
