Focus stacking / Nikon D850

I am a still life and product photographer. I mostly work tethered with Capture One Pro or Capture One Mobile. I often have to use focus stacking feature of my Nikon D850 for my product or still life shots. And I have to disconnect my camera from Capture One to use the camera focus stacking feature.
Current workaround
My current workaround is to disconnect my camera from Capture One and use the camera focus stacking feature. It is very annoying as I am not able to take advantage of the tethering during shooting any product that requires focus stacking.

    Hello,
    I’ve developed an app that automatically captures the images needed for focus stacking, working like a plugin for Capture One (C1).
    It can be launched from the script menu within C1, and is compatible with the Pro version only.

    While it’s limited to devices that support autofocus control via C1, users can freely configure the number of shots, shooting interval (wait time), and other settings.

    It's available on Gumroad—feel free to give it a try if you're interested!
    If you're using Nikon cameras and lenses, it should work without any issues. There's also a free demo version available, so I encourage you to test it out!
