I use tilt/shift lenses all the time for product and architectural work. Using the tilts/swings means focusing on two or more points to align the plane of focus with the subject plane. This can be very fiddly and time consuming. If the live view screen could be split to show a magnified view of the two or more separate focus points this procedure would be made so much easier.

Current workaround
There is no workaround as such in C1, other than faffing with the live view screen. I have a separate software application which gives a split screen live view for setting the tilt/swing focus points. It is Kuuvik Capture. However, I have to close down C1, start up Kuuvik Capture, perform the task, close down Kuuvik Capture and restart C1. It would be much more efficient if it could all be performed within C1. |
