Seam Aware 360 Spherical Panorama Editing

When editing DNG spherical equirectangular 2:1 images coming from an external panorama stitcher, colour corrections & grading will result in a visible stitchline across the image when it is viewed in 360. Also, the projection cannot be changed to make viewing and editing (tripod removal,...) more user friendly.
Affinity Photo 2 can do this, but it is not my preferred image editor.

Panorama feature is integrated in CaptureOnePro, but it falls short to deliver to 360 output requirements.
