Eos R5 mark II compatible with Capture One 23

Capture One has just released an update for the raw compatibility of the new EOS R5 mark II that consists of purchasing a new license and updating to the latest version, when the most logical thing is that a simple update to at least both would be enough. previous versions so you don't have to pay anything. I hope Capture One will respond to our proposals. Thank you

Current workaround
Upgrade to 16.4.5 and have to pay $350

If Capture ONE holds this position I am am done with them. I JUST upgraded recently and they have no intention of supporting this brand new camera? I should have been fully informed of these proposed actions and how they impact my use of the software. This is not only completely unacceptable, it is the poorest customer service possible. Not only will I file whatever complaints I can regarding this performance issue with Capture One requesting refunds as appropriate, I will openly advocate AGAINST Capture One use by ANY of the photographers and/or media professionals. I am astounded by the brazen audacity of Capture One regarding this treatment of its loyal customers. I have been shelling out upgrade funds since Capture One was in version 3.0 and now I am to expect that the thousands of dollars I have transmitted to Capture One have bought me ABSOLUTELY NO LOYALTY from Capture One. Capture One...your move...

Hi there, unfortunately we are currently not releasing (or planning to support) backwards compatibility for newer cameras.
