Options for "Follow" button - on/off/always follow capture

Please implement an option for the Follow button to stay on when reviewing previous images instead of auto turning off.

Often times a photographer will shoot a series of shots, review on the iPad, and then start shooting again. However, when they start shooting again they (reasonably, imo) expect the new captures to show up on the iPad.

In my experience having to tap "Follow" to see new captures is an unnecessary step.

Also, an option to automatically show the new capture folder with the latest image full screen instead of thumbnail/gallery view.

Current workaround

Ask the photographer/art director/stylist to tap the Follow button. Mixed results. Hearing "the iPad stopped working" more often than not.

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback. We're implementing something to help with those cases with our next release, you can already test it if you join the beta program.

I hear from other staff members that the connection during shooting keeps getting cut off. It leads to situations where they ask again if the shooting is still happening.

What Capture One needs to understand is that, surprisingly, most people other than photographers who actually handle the camera have very little understanding of devices or applications. Many things need to be automated for them.

    Yes, absolutely this.

Makeup artist zooms in to check the talent? "The iPad stopped working."

Art Director goes back a couple of frames? "The iPad stopped working."

"Always follow" would be fantastic. "Follow selected" would be wonderful too.
