Hello,
I would like to see about having the option to 'include layers' when exporting to TIF/TIFF. I think it would also be beneficial have this option using 'Edit With' or "Open With' when creating a TIFF. Conversely, when importing new TIFF files to automatically include any existing layers.

Current workaround
There really isn't a 'workaround' for this. I end up using 'edit with', creating a TIFF file and saving with layers in the app used to edit. The changes to show up in CO, but the layers are not there. When I re-open the file using Edit WIth to the same editor or open directly into that same editor, the layers are there. But, when you open the file directly from the editor without going through the CO interface, the changes do not update. |
Capture One's masking capabilities are awesome, but there are some jobs that need Affinity Photo (or Photoshop). Affinity's masking is lacklustre so it would be of tremendous help to be able to export mask layers as TIFFs when exporting.
