Capture One and Canon Burst Mode (cRAW files not supported)

What problem do you see this solving?

I am using frequently (e.g. for birds...) Canon´s RAW burst mode (Canon R6Mk2, R7). Unfortunately, importing these cRAW files directly in Capture One does not work. The cameras create a RAW roll in this mode and - as you know- you have to extract the single images with Canon Digital Photo Professional 4 software. These extracted files are cRAW´s and named xx.CR3. They are not recognized by Capture One in import mode. Thus, I have to work around: after extracting the single files I have to create DNG files which can be imported into Capture One. As Lightroom and DXO PhotoLab 7 can read and import these cRAW´s without any problems, I use both of them to create the DNG´s (for Capture One). Liking Capture One very much as my main RAW-converter (simply the best colors...) it is a pity to be forced to the described workaround.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

The last time was today - my C1 workflow is affected every time I use Canon´s RAW Burst Mode....

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

Yes, as described above: Importing the extracted cRAW´s in Lightroom or DXO PhotoLab (7), then exporting them as DNG-files and finally reimporting the DNG´s in Capture One.
