every time i scan some film without correction (of blu/cyan for keeping the film tones in the shadow) i am not able in any way to white balance correctly, there is a limit at 14k kelvin which is many times still too cold.
Current workaround
with the white balance pick tool works, it does neutralize and balance correctly the image. IF PICKING A NEUTRAL AREA WHICH IS NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE. the kelvin value get to the maximum (14k even if probably is set to much more - probably 20k) but then i can not copy the same white balance on any picture (copies the numbers but not the real value) or modify tint without making the image going back to 14k kelvin. I CAN NOT HAVE THE SAME SETTING ON DIFFERENT PICTURES CAUSE IS JUST A PICKED VALUE BUT IS LIKE DOESNT HAVE A SPECIFIC NUMBER DUE TO THE 14K LIMIT. |
