Capture One Pro (16.5.0.29) - Focus during deletion

I am facing a slightly confusing effect with C1P in the above mentioned version.

The following problem:

I am in the browser (I have the large preview in the centre, the ‘filmstrip’ on the right edge.), and I want to delete an image. I do this with ctrl+cmd+backspace (Mac). Now the correct dialogue appears asking whether I really want to delete and whether I only want to delete from the catalogue or from the disk. So far, so correct.

What irritates me is that the focus, i.e. the preview (large image) immediately jumps to the next image. The dialogue correctly mentions the image to be deleted (filename), but the image displayed in the preview is the next one in the sequence. As if the image following the image to be deleted is already positioned. I find this extremely irritating.

My first assumption was that this is a setting similar to ‘select’ - ‘select next when’... But an enquiry in the C1P forum revealed that there is no configuration option for the problem I described.

I then asked photo friends who work with version 16.2.x or 16.3.x. The described effect does not occur with either version. I cannot yet say whether 16.4.x also has the problem. I have the strong feeling that there is a problem with version 16.5.x. Can you please check this?
