Specify Selected Layer Across Multiple Images

Guys how come we can't do a simple thing like auto-selecting a specific layer across multiple images? Capture One is meant to be a 'pro' tool and you know we work with massive batches of images at a time - almost all folks who've reached an advanced stage of colour grading will employ some sort of layer workflow and efficient navigation through these layers across bit sets of images that need a consistent look is super important.

Also, why can't we copy across adjustments like WB to multiple layers? Simple functionality that should be available. Take a leaf out of Davinci Resolve's book please.
