Expose file paths to offline files

CaptureOne's offline file capabilities do not currently reveal the path to a file. When using the "Reveal in Finder" feature on macOS, no Finder window is opened if the file where the photo was last seen, is missing.

Back in the day, Aperture provided a clever interface for handling offline files and re-linking these. In it, one could see which volume the file had been stored on, which offered clues when searching for the file.

CaptureOne could expose the file path in the metadata field/similar, including a link that opened the file in the Finder.

Also, more generally, I find that CaptureOne, which I have been now been using for 8 years, does not provide a clear model or means for managing the movement / relocation / re-linking offline files efficiently. It would be great to see this tackled.

Current workaround

My current workaround is to open the photo database with an SQL tool. This requires some technical acumen, and is not a good approach for most.

There's a previous request for an option to show file paths for offline files here: https://captureone.ideas.aha.io/ideas/FR-I-944
