The new Face Retouching tool is a great addition, but for professional portrait, beauty and fashion workflows, it is essential that skin retouching is not limited to the face only. Retouching is often required on all visible skin areas, including arms, legs, and décolleté. Currently, I use third-party tools like Retouch4me’s Dodge & Burn and Heal plugins, which apply automatic and consistent corrections across the full skin area. Having this functionality natively in Capture One would significantly streamline the retouching process and eliminate the need for round-tripping to external apps.

Current workaround
I use Retouch4me plugins (Dodge & Burn and Heal) on every image to retouch skin beyond the face. This requires exporting images from Capture One and processing them externally, which breaks the workflow and increases editing time. |
