Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
It would be nice to be able to cycle through the modes of the cursor tools that have them and are assigned the same single key shortcut. For example, I tend to use freehand rotation, but tapping the “r” key always activates the Straighten mode the first time I use the shortcut in Capture One. I'd like to be able to simply tap the “r” key again to switch to the next listed mode for the rotate tool, which is Rotate Freehand. Tapping it again would switch to Rotate Left, then to Rotate Right. From there, tapping “r” would cycle back to the Straighten mode. I'm aware that it's possible to assign a custom shortcut to the mode I use most, but that's an additional thing I have to remember and configure across my installations of C1.
What problem do you see this solving?
Allowing people to reduce the amount of cursor movement and clicking they have to do to activate the desired tool.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I run into this minor annoyance every time I use Capture One.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? No, but a custom keyboard shortcut is one possibility. |
Thanks, Denis! That's a pretty good substitute for the overloading behavior I suggest.
hey 377465675537, thanks for the suggestion. please note you can do this now by holding the shift button (shift + "cursor tool shortcut)
