Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
When using the Culling tool after having imported pictures, allow the option to use either the generated previews OR the embedded JPEG. ignoring the loss of performance. For wildlife photographers using smaller sensor in difficult lighting conditions (I.E early morning/late evening) assessing the sharpness of an image in basic embedded JPEG is difficult.
Also, I don’t think “Face focus” tool will ever be expanded to include animal faces/eyes, so please update the Culling zoom control by adding the already existing Ctrl/Right click navigator, the Ctrl + Space bar Loupe shortcut, as well as the zoom control through the mouse wheel to zoom in more efficiently. This would allow for rapidly checking animal eye sharpness without having to use the Pan tool then tediously moving the cursor over the right area.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Every time I come back from a shoot with 15000 pictures to cull.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Appart from the "zoom" request part, the tool works well for pictures taken in ideal conditions, so for early morning/late evening, I switch back to a manual process. |
