Better handling for 'guides'

What problem do you see this solving?

I use the guides quite regularly, to make sure I am positioning a feature of my photo in a specific location (normally the centre of an image) but sometimes to ensure alignment of an object with other objects in the image, so to do this I manually move the guides into place. The problem is that as soon as the guides are moved a) it's not possible to quickly, easily or correctly(!) re-center them manually, and b) if you use the menu function View/Customize Guides/Reset Guides the guides then disappear altogether, so you need to indivually add the vertical and horizontal guides, which is nothing more than a pain and takes unecessary time. It would therefore be a great idea if you could have a 'guides reset' option that replaces the pair of vertically and horizontally centered guides. Or possibly if you double click on a guide then it repositions itself to the default centered position.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Today, in fact pretty much every time I edit my photos

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

No, there are no other realistic workarounds. I sometimes use a grid overlay to check alignments but it's not always 100% useful.
