Possibility to automate reappearing steps of editing

What problem do you see this solving?

it's not a problem, it wold be time saving. I have in editing reappearing steps in almost every pic I edit. I create a layer. I need a second layer as a copy from the first one. I need to copy the mask from the first one an invert it. then I need to add a (user) style to this new layer. Even if I use shortcuts (for inverting) this always repeating edits are time consuming. if there would be a possibility to "automate" like in the Mac automaton this 4 steps of similar edits into one shortcut, that would be great.
