Different Auto Select Next Settings for 2 Monitors: Main Window and Viewer

What problem do you see this solving?

I work as a digital operator. When I'm on set with a second monitor I use the the viewer window to have a full screen view of the images as they're coming in for the client and-or photographer to see. Sometimes I need to pause the auto select next capture when ready setting so that I can rename, move, look at older or colour grade images, but this means that the client/photographer monitor also sees the images I'm currently looking at and no longer a live view of the latest images which creates frustration.

I would like a feature that allows two different settings of "auto select next capture when" for the viewer window and main window, so that I could have my laptop set to never but the client's monitor set to when ready, greatly improving my workflow.

Another, less suitable possibility, which would only cater to some scenarios is to allow me to "freeze" the viewer screen and leave it on one image e.g. while clients are discussing something about it, and then let me continue working on doing selects, exports, renames or edits on other images.

This post from 6 years ago expresses the same issue / feature request: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009410957-2-monitors-Different-auto-select-new-capture-settings?input_string=Auto%20Select%20Next

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

This week. Every time I'm on set with a second screen.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

Capture Pilot can sometimes be used if the client doesn't care about seeing the last image the second comes in. But it's too slow/far behind to be used in most scenarios.
