Improvement of Import Window: Select the target album in the import window

What problem do you see this solving?

Importing to a certain album (instead of only the "recent imports") is an unnecessary complication. Also, the translations are highly inconsistent and that alone is annoying!

Currently I need to create a new album or select an existing one. In my case, I usually create a new album, but since the checkbox "select new collection" is not activated, I sometimes forget to check it. And why is the German translation sometimes talking about "Sammlung" (collection) and other times "Album" (album). This is pointless, because I cannot select another type of collection here – that's only possible lateron (*). Clean your database and stop confusing users! After so many versions still a mess in wording.

Also, this screenshot shows the inconsistency of the one box I can type some text in. It usually comes like this

and I can start typing, but in not so rare cases it also is NOT highlighted and the cursor stands somewhere. No other app is misbehaving this way.

(*) Now, here I could choose another type of collection, but again the wording is misleading. Also, there's a tiny ⚠️ icon (in grey, therefore soooo attention-grabbing [/irony]). But since the import window always uses the max monitor space and isn't remembering a change in size, it always looses the area battle of 404.600 mm² against 25 mm² - obvious outcome.

Now I start the import, standard here is "import to selected album". After culling and selecting the images I click on "Import" and – surprise – the message pops up "you need to select an album first". But at this moment I cannot select an album - I need to abort the import, find the album again and start the whole procedure.

This whole notification window is written in such a poor translation - incredible. I wonder if it's in Danish or English also as difficult to get as it is in German.

No valid collection selected

The selected collection could not be imported. [Note: at this moment the images are in no collection or album]

Please select an album or select another collection "Import to". [Which at this moment should be phrased as "select an album and repeat the whole section process]

At first: Why are devs considering it unnecessary to make an album selectable from the import window? Please change that.

At second: some support requests could be avoided if you kept your databases of UI texts consistent.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Yesterday, last week. last month: basically each import comes with the risk of unchecked checkbox and also retype the album title because of inconsistent highlighting.
