Batch Export Whitespace Crop, Please!

What problem do you see this solving?

For those of us who post photos on instagram, we are limited to using 4:5 aspect ratio. Often this 4x5 ratio is not ideal for the image. The only current solution is to either use Photoshop or a third party iPhone app to create white space around each individual image to achieve instagram's crop requirement. Doing this for each image takes a lot of time and extra work. This issue is compounded when we make carousel (multiple image) posts because the orientation of the first image is applied to all following images-- ie, I have a portrait orientation image as the first image in my carousel so I cannot post landscape oriented images after it without instagram auto cropping them into portrait shape, which ruins them.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

I encounter this issue literally every single time I export photos from C1. I spend 3 hours a week just going between an iPhone app and my camera roll making borders for photos one at a time because I want to post on instagram.

Solution:

An AMAZING solution in C1 would be a feature in the export recipe pop up to batch export images with whitespace added around them to achieve an outer aspect ratio (like 4:5, or 1:1) while keeping the crop of the actual image inside the white space intact. I imagine a simple way to do this would be to set the final aspect ratio and also amount of whitespace "padding" for the shortest edge of the image.
