Allow Alternate projections, particularly Panini for single images

What problem do you see this solving?

The Panini project is one which is quite useful and valuable for interior architectural subjects, as it reduces the perceived distortion towards the side edges, and also creates a more "natural" perspective to the user by bringing the center elements closer.

Many interior architectural images are taken individually with a wide angle or ultra wide angle lens. The requirement to take multiple images to create a panorama seems like it adds an unnecessary extra step.
