Add a shortcut to "Only disply when drawing" mask

What problem do you see this solving?

I find the ability to customize Capture One command shortcuts invaluable. I must have used most of my keyboard keys, by now. This allows me to practically use only my left hand on the keyboard, my right one on a track ball, and it speeds up my workflow drastically.

I am using ALL of the tools (Linear, Radial, Brushes as Healing, Clone, and Normal) and I have set my workspace, so the relevant mask is set as “Display only when drawing”.

This works fine most of the time, but for difficult image, I sometimes have a need to “see” the mask without drawing it, or to visualize the “Grayscale” mask, for which I obviously use shortcuts to toggle back and forth.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to assign a custom, or use a keyboard shortcut to “Display only when drawing” command to return to my standard workflow.

Yes.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Every time I use masks, which is about 70% of the time, and find that I need a “fixed” or “Grayscale” mask, then must set it back to my standard workflow using the mouse instead.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I use the “Erase” brush, which displays the mask when using “fixed” mask. It does not work on “Greyscale” mask though, obviously.

On top, I have to be careful not to erase any previously made modifications !

Please allow “Only display when drawing” to be accessed with a shortcut, customizable or not, like ALT+M or MAJ+M to complete the “Mask” control sequence.
