Please give multi-card incremental import ability on Mac

What problem do you see this solving?

It would mean I don't need to use yet another piece of software between shooting and final output - I use PhotoMechanic because it ingests files the way I need them to be ingested. C1 seems slower and most importantly I can't import more than one card at a time, so it's useless to me. I recently learnt that C1 users on PC can do this? If Photo Mechanic can do it on a Mac, surely C1 can too.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?nAre you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

Current workaround

Yesterday. Literally every shoot I do. My workflow is: create a C1 Session, close it, open Photo Mechanic, ingest my cards (usually 2 or 3) to the Capture folder of the C1 session (or sometimes in a new folder within the Capture folder). Then I use FastRawViewer to cull as it has a MUCH better previewing ability than C1 or PM. Then I drag the selects to the Selects folder in C1 (or create a subfolder in it). THEN I open C1 so it knows the files exist. THEN I use Aftershoot to do AI editing. Then I open Capture One to further refine the AI edits from Aftershoot and export to JPEG.
